Mandy

Mandy: born approx 1994-95, spayed female, short hair, Patchwork Calico (3250)

Mandy is a lap-lovin’ sweetheart of a cat. Found roaming a beach in Mission Bay (where she lived for 3 years before coming to Rescue House), Mandy is a very calm, mellow, and affectionate lady. (Oh, and what a beauty.) Her favorite pastimes include sunning herself on a comfy couch,  napping on laps, being brushed, and enjoying as many head and chin scratches as she can get.

Mandy is also one of our special needs kitties. She was diagnosed with very mild kidney disease (so mild she needs no medication), and has a sensitive digestive system that requires a special diet (very simple to make). And although Mandy will need regular checkups to monitor her kidney disease, she is a very healthy kitty with many years of life still ahead.

Mandy kinda prefers being the only cat in the house. After living alone on the streets for so long, she seems to want all the attention for herself, and who can blame her?!!  And she rather prefers the quiet life, so would likely do best in a household without very young children or overly rambunctious dogs. One thing’s for sure, she has tremendous love to give, and will make a wonderful companion for some very lucky family. Could that family be yours?

Thank You
