This beautiful girl came to The Rescue House to find a new loving home because her owner became very ill and could no longer care for her.  This is very tough for her.  Ginger likes people and is very sweet! - she loves to be combed and petted.  She is a quiet cat and tends to keep to herself.  Ginger would probably prefer to be in a single cat home so she can have all your attention, as she has been used to, but may do all right with another gentle cat.  Since she is not used to a “noisy” environment, we don’t think she would do well in a home with children.  Ginger is looking for a peaceful home where she can relax and enjoy life or find a secret hiding place to nap or hang out with her special person(s).  Might this be your home?
