Hello, my name is Darla and I am quite a lovely lady cat. I don’t have a tail like most cats because I am a Manx. I love to have attention, once I get to know you. I love to carry on long conversations. My foster Dad thinks I’m very sweet even though I can be a bit shy. I am not really shy, but I am cautious because recently my world fell apart when the people who I thought loved me gave me away. To add insult to injury, I had to be in a cage, which I absolutely hate. They scare me and I am just not myself!
I still can’t understand why they gave me up. I tried to tell them that I wasn’t very happy because changes were occurring in the home I didn’t understand why such a fuss is being made over a new baby. In our cat world it happens, and there is little fuss. I think I would like a home that is nice and quiet and has gentle people that will appreciate the love I have to give. I have that with my foster dad and it suits me just fine.
