Born 2002,
neutered male, short hair black & white tuxedo (2855) Tail-less
Charlie was found along with his siblings under the deck of a nice
lady. She contacted Rescue House and all but Charlie went into
foster care and later adopted. Charlie wanted to stay with his
momma. He was determined not to go away with that lady. Finally
one day he was scooped up and taken to Rescue H. He was not a
happy camper. Even though he was taken care of real good, he had
trouble socializing with humans. The Rescue House volunteer
finally convinced that humans were ok and he was integrated into
the rest of the family. He gets along with most cats. He loves to
roughhouse with young cats and tolerates big gentle dogs. He loves
tender loving care but not being picked up. He will get overly
affectionate and give love bites. Since he doesn’t have a tail, he
has had some problems with nerve degeneration in his backside.
This causes him to sometimes lose control of his bodily functions
and leak. Luckily he keeps getting stronger and hopefully this one
day will clear up. He needs a very understanding and patient
family that will love him forever.
Thank You
