Born:
2002, spayed female, short hair, Lynx point Siamese mix (3456)
Celeste and her 3 very
tiny babies had been abandoned in an apartment building. The Feral Cat
Coalition caught them and because Celeste was not feral, just very
scared. She went into a home where she could finish nursing her babies.
Unfortunately, that home did not care for Celeste or her babies and
tragically one of them died. She was again rescued by another foster
home that took care of her and her surviving babies and they all
thrived. Her babies have been adopted but Celeste had trouble adjusting
to the hustle and bustle of her foster home. From there she went to a
quiet foster home where she learned to trust people again.
She does very well in her current foster home and enjoys the company of
the other cats and her foster momma. She becomes quite scared at first
with new situations but given time she adjusts quite well. She enjoys
playing with feathers and toys and lounging. We think she would do
wonderful in a quiet home that has the patience to give her to adjust to
her new home. Could you be that special person to make Celeste part of
your family? She has so very much love to give to the right person.
